About Me
I am a Teaching Specialist in Mathematics at the University of Minnesota. I received my PhD in May 2015 under the supervision of Paul Garrett. I was born in England and moved to Minneapolis when I was nine. I received my B.S. in Mathematics from the University of Minnesota in 2009, and my M.S. in Mathematics in 2013. My CV is here.
Research Interests
My research is in the spectral theory of automorphic forms, representation theory, and analytic number theory. My research statement is here. My master's thesis, an expository paper on the spectral theory for SL(2) and Sobolev-space techniques in automorphic forms is here. My PhD thesis is here .
Courses
I am currently teaching Math 5248 (Cryptography) and Math 1272 (Calculus II). I have been the instructor of record for Math 4281 (Modern Algebra), Math 1142(Short Calculus), and Math 1272 (Calculus II). In addition, I have worked as a Teaching Assistant for Math 1271-1272, Math 1571-1572 (Honors Calculus I and II, respectively), as well as Math 1142.
