Imaging of the HII region N160 in the LMC with Spitzer at 3.6um (left) and FORCAST on SOFIA at 31.5um (right). The FORCAST image has comparable resolution to the Spitzer image but at a much longer wavelength. The FORCAST image reveals NO hidden, cooler sources that would have been blended in the Herschel beam, but invisible to IRAC on Spitzer at the shorter wavelengths. Gordon et al. 2017.
