Generally speaking, we'll have homework every day. We'll also have a final exam and either one or two midterms. (Your choice, as a class!) We'll work on individual projects later on during the class; some of the homework load will be reduced so that you can finish your projects.

Paul Garrett's Crypto Page. (This is the author of our textbook.) You can read his lecture slides and see some sample quizzes. He also has a few interactive applets available:

Tom Linton's Crypto Page. This is another instructor teaching out of Garrett's book. Pay particular attention to the java applets: shift cipher, affine cipher, letter frequency, digram frequency, Vigenere encryption and decryption, Kasiski attack, and more. His applets are the reason I stopped writing applets for this class.
Here are yet more cryptology tools. (Hmm... these may not be functional)
