The International Conference on Preconditioning Techniques for Scientific and Industrial Applications, Preconditioning 2019, is the eleventh in a series of conferences that focus on preconditioning techniques in sparse matrix computations. The goal of this series of conferences is to address the complex issues related to the solution of general sparse matrix problems in large-scale applications and in industrial settings.
Celebrating 20 years of Preconditioning conferences
Precon 2019 will mark the 20th anniversary of the start of the preconditining conferences. The first preconditioning conference was held in June 1999 at the University of Minnesota. Twenty years later, "Preconditioning" will return to Minneapolis to celebrate the occasion.
