Topics: This course is a broad introduction to special functions and combinatorics. I will cover

• orthogonal polynomials
• classical OP and hypergeometric series of various types
• Viennot's theory
• distance regular graphs and Leonard's theorem
• WZ, Omega, and polynomials in several variables

Grading and Exams: Each student will either present a paper related to the course material or turn in correct solutions to an appropriate number of homework problems. There will be no exams.
