Math 5285H (Fundamental Structures of Algebra II), Spring 2010
This course is a continuation of Math 5285H. Topics include:
- Ring theory
- Modules
- Applications to linear algebra
- Field theory and Galois theory
Course Information
Here is the course syllabus.
The course textbook is Artin's "Algebra." (Thankfully, it does
not publish a new edition every year.) Main chapters covered will
be 10 through 14.
