The main goal of this program is to teach computer programming using python
in an intense hands-on program to be held on the University of
Minnesota campus.
The program will include lectures on the fundamental programming
concepts and on the python programming language together with
extensive hands-on experience in a computer lab.
Instruction will be done by graduate students and professors.
Participants will have ample time to work in a computer lab to develop
programs for small robots, image processing, and other applications
under close supervision of teaching assistants.
In addition, there will be a variety of career planning and discovery
activities.
The program will run every day from 9:00am to 5:00pm (the organized activities
will finish by 4:30pm, with time until 5:00pm as needed).
Students will need their own transportation to campus.
