Quantum Devices and Materials

Our group is interested in the physics and possible applications of novel low-dimensional forms of matter, including topological, superconducting and magnetic properties of nanowires, quantum wells, and layered 2D materials. A core focus is developing new types of superconducting qubits and on-chip control elements based on hybrid superconductor-semiconductor materials.
